Sales Associate

Vision Ford is expanding!

A Sales Associate will serve as a guide to facilitate the customer buying experience.This is a full-time position with benefits. 

Duties Include:

  • Facilitates interview, at customer's pace, to discover customer preferences, needs, and buying motives.
  • Matches customer needs with model and equipment and presents vehicle in terms of customer's interest.
  • Offers and accompanies customer(s) on test drive.
  • Offers customer involvement in trade-in evaluation, presents financial proposition, satisfies customer concerns and asks for the order.
  • Conducts delivery process, and follows up in prescribed manner with customers.
  • Follows up with customers after delivery to develop customer loyalty.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Vision Ford-Lincoln.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Lube Technician

The Lube Technician is expected to: Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the dealership; Perform lube, oil, filter and multipoint service for customer vehicles; Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful. Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Primary Duties:
1. Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control. Perform all lube, oil, filter and multi-point inspection processes to ensure proper diagnoses. Assess any supplemental vehicle needs. Perform quality service at all times and notify management of any substandard processes, parts or procedures. Maintain clean vehicles during all servicing and repairs. Achieve customer service satisfaction through prompt and accurate service and communication. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements. Perform all job duties requested by management.
2. Operate with integrity: Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others. Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment. Job Requirements:
High school diploma or the equivalent recommended but not required. One year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice. Maintain valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements. Local state inspection license preferred Physical Requirements: Work performed in shop setting While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions precedent at that time. Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives. Required to lift up to a minimum of 100 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position: Leadership- the individual demonstrates ethical and followership behaviors which promotes our company standards resulting in a cohesive and effective team. Compliance- the individual understands and adheres to all Company standards, state and federal laws and regulations as well as product pricing guidelines of all lenders, agencies or business partners. Experienced Automotive Technician

The Service Technician is also responsible for setting goals for personal service improvement, and monitor progress against customer satisfaction index numbers and production numbers as provided by the Service Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
o Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools provided
o Ensure that common courtesy is shown toward all customers you come into contact with
o While in the vicinity of the Service Drive, act as a secondary customer greeter to customers that have not yet been acknowledged
o Keep up to date with all technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations
o Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe and honorable vehicle service is delivered as promised the first time
o Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales
o Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities ensuring that the vehicle is being maintained to the local area and factory recommendation
o Ensure the customers' vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrived
o Participate in any Factory, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to you
o Complete all paperwork completely and correctly, then ensure all required shop forms are attached to the RO hard copy
o Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM or Group Leader
o Always come to work on time, ready to work, and in a clean uniform

Job Requirements:
Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair service on various vehicle makes and models.
Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals
Outstanding communication skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Great attitude with a high-energy personality
Superior customer service skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to exercise good judgment
Valid State drivers license and good driving record

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have technical aptitude displayed by ASE certification
Technical or trade school degree preferred

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible to meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inspect vehicle and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customers service needs.
  • Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements.
  • Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for the services recommended, communicate and get proper authorization from customers.
  • Check on progress of services to vehicles throughout the day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval regarding any changes in the cost-estimate, promised time of delivery or recommended services.
  • Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer warranty guidelines.
  • Confirm service appointments by telephone the day before the customer is scheduled to arrive and conduct post-repair follow up.
  • Inspect vehicles prior to each customer delivery to ensure vehicles services and/or repairs are performed correctly and communicate the results with the customer.
  • Meet requirements of the state and federal law for automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Companys Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
